Personal Data Policy
Chaipattana Land Company Limited (the “Company”) hereby informs those who contact the Company that the Company is required to collect, gather, and use the personal data of individuals, in accordance with this Personal Data Policy. When you contact the Company and disclose or transmit your personal data to the Company for the purposes of communication, coordination, and/or the provision of services by the Company to you, the Company shall deem that you have agreed to and accepted compliance with this Personal Data Policy.
Personal Data Processed by the Company
The Company may receive your personal data through several channels, as follows:
- Directly, through communications between the Company and you;
- Indirectly, through referrals from third parties, where you may have given consent for such third parties to disclose and transmit your personal data to the Company; or
- Automatically, through system collection when you visit the Company’s website and/or use the Company’s various services.
The personal data that the Company is required to collect, gather, use, and process under this Personal Data Policy includes:
- Your first and last name, together with related information about you or your representative (in the case where you contact the Company on behalf of a juristic person), which may include identity verification documents;
- Contact information, such as telephone number, email address, or social media account information;
- Other personal data that you may provide to the Company during communications, such as the subject matter of your inquiry, your interests, or other supporting information that may identify you, which you provide directly to the Company through various communication channels;
- In the case of contact through the Company’s website, technical information such as IP address, cookies, and your browsing behavior data.
Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Data
The Company is required to collect, gather, and use your personal data as specified under this Personal Data Policy for the following purposes:
- To manage responses to communications you make with the Company, such as answering inquiries, providing relevant information as requested, managing complaints, or responding to comments you provide directly to the Company through various communication channels, including ongoing coordination, service provision, preparation of service agreements, and/or the exercise of rights and performance of obligations that the Company and you may agree upon and undertake with one another on an ongoing basis;
- To comply with legal obligations to which the Company may be subject, which may include, but is not limited to, the preparation of accounting and tax documentation for any services the Company may provide to you, and the preparation of documents for registration of transfer of ownership, among others;
- To establish and improve business relationships, including improving the services the Company provides for your benefit, for which purpose the Company may collect and use your personal data for quality control, quality assurance, management analysis, and resolution of related issues, including but not limited to employee training or planning for future service improvements;
- To analyze customer interests in order to improve the design of projects or service formats so as to better meet the needs and interests of each customer, as well as the Company’s customers as a whole;
- To protect and defend the Company’s legitimate legal rights in the event of any dispute that may arise between you and the Company, in whatever form; and
- To analyze data on customer interests and service usage for marketing planning purposes, particularly for marketing and public relations activities directed toward other individuals who may have characteristics similar to yours, provided that this does not include direct marketing to customers.
- Where the Company has obtained your consent to process personal data for a specific purpose, such as marketing communications and news updates, the Company will process such data in accordance with that specified purpose.
Data Retention Period
To carry out all of the purposes stated above, the Company is required to collect and process your personal data for the following periods:
- For processing carried out for the purpose of service provision, contract preparation, and/or the exercise of rights and performance of obligations under a contract, the Company is required to process your personal data for as long as the Company continues to have an obligation to provide services to you;
- For processing carried out for the purpose of complying with the Company’s legal obligations, the Company is required to retain your personal data for the period prescribed by the applicable law;
- For processing carried out for the purpose of establishing and improving business relationships and/or improving service provision, the Company reserves the right to retain such personal data for as long as may be necessary for its business purposes, while ensuring that your rights as the data subject are not unduly affected;
- For processing carried out for the purpose of protecting and defending the Company’s legitimate legal rights, the Company is required to retain such personal data throughout the applicable statute of limitations; and
- Where you have given the Company consent to process data for a specific purpose, the Company will process your personal data until such time as you withdraw your consent.
Disclosure of Personal Data
As a general principle, your personal data will not be disclosed, except where disclosure is necessary for the Company to carry out its obligations to the following categories of persons:
- Disclosure of your personal data to the Company’s external service providers who assist and support the Company in providing services to you, including the Company’s business consultants, whereby the Company will transmit and disclose your personal data only within the scope of the stated purposes and only to the extent necessary; or
- Where the Company is subject to an order or judgment of a government authority, the Company may be required to transmit and disclose your personal data to such authority.
Personal Data Security Measures
The Company has implemented security measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access, use, alteration, modification, or disclosure of personal data. The Company will review such measures periodically as appropriate and in accordance with applicable law.
Rights of the Data Subject
As the data subject, you have the right, within the scope permitted by law, to:
- Withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data for which you have given consent to us, at any time during the period your personal data remains with us;
- Access your personal data and request that we provide you with a copy of such data;
- Request that we correct your personal data to ensure accuracy, or supplement incomplete data;
- Request that we delete your data under certain circumstances;
- Request that we restrict the use of your personal data under certain circumstances;
- Request the transfer of the personal data you have provided to us to another data controller or to yourself under certain circumstances;
- Object to the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances.

This notice and policy is issued under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). The Company reserves the right to update, amend, and revise this policy as appropriate and in accordance with applicable law. This notice shall be deemed part of the Company’s work regulations and part of the employment contract that employees are required to strictly comply with. This policy shall take effect from June 1, 2022 onward.
